Forza Horizon 3's snow-filled Blizzard Mountain expansion is out now

Forza Horizon 3's Blizzard Mountain expansion is now available, giving players a taste of racing over snow and ice-filled tracks. With a whole new area to check out, you'll have to test your skills behind the wheel with new cars, challenges and the wintry conditions of Blizzard Mountain itself.
In all, Blizzard Mountain serves up 50 new events and challenges. New race types are also in the picture, including Hill Climb, Descent and Blizzard. Forza is nothing without cars, however, and Blizzard Mountain packs 7 new vehicles to race around:
- 2016 For GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX
- 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck
- 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4
- 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
- 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept
- 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck
- 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car
And if you were a fan of the base game's visuals, Blizzard Mountain will likely impress — especially if you're playing the game with HDR enabled.
The Blizzard Mountain expansion is available as part of the $35 expansion pass, or on its own for $20. If you already have the Ultimate Edition of the game, you can grab the Expansion Pass at a discounted $25.

Still hate the way they sold an Ultimate Edition, then announced MORE paid DLC at the last minute, feels dirty. I like the game a lot, but haven't gotten to play in some time, so I have a lot to still do before an expansion is valuable to me. Maybe if it goes on-sale later, I'll get it. $35 isn't horrible, but it's also not low enough for an impulse buy, even as someone who loves winter train in games.

If you own the Ultimate edition you get a discount for the expansion and I think if you buy it before 2017 there's a bigger discount. However I agree Ultimate Edition should get everything
-
Yeah, if I spent an extra $40, I save $10. Not a deal.
-
Just got my Expansion pass for 460 MXN, about 23 to 25 USD and when I try to enter the content it says "missing content" so yeah, I'm not very happy about spending the money right now haha
-
I got the ultimate edition and I feel the same way. How many times do we have to pay to get the complete experience.
-
I payed $130 to get the game and every thing that went with it at least that's what I thought so I do not understand why we do not get the expansion pass for free $10 of is okay but in total that adds up to 155 I have bills to pay come on Microsoft I thought you were better than this maybe I'll go play some need for speed
-
I agree with everyone in this thread that the expansion pass is pretty damn expensive. I'd really love to get this but $35 is a bit much. I wish we knew what the other expansions were going to be...
-
Expansion only gets 2 per the store page. I assume this is one of them.
