Darksiders III was announced many months ago, and since then we haven't heard much about the title. All we knew was that it would focus on a new protagonist and continue the story of the existing games. On a technical front, THQ Nordic made it clear that Darksiders III would support Xbox One X.
Today, the publisher released a new trailer for the game which showcases the introduction. Players get an in-depth overview of the events of the first two games and what to expect for the future. THQ Nordic also released a bizarre trailer which features Fury's meditation techniques with fire. However, gamers are probably more interested in the story than possibly setting something ablaze in their living rooms.
In Darksiders III, players return to a post-apocalyptic Earth. The game is a hack-and-slash adventure where you assume the role of Fury in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. Fury is by far the most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. She has to succeed where many have failed when it comes to bringing balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.
There are a few versions for preorder. The Darksiders III: Deluxe Edition and Darksiders III: Blades & Whip Edition give players 24-hour early access to the game and a discount. Darksiders III is set for release on November 27, 2018 for Xbox One and other platforms.
