Darksiders III was announced many months ago, and since then we haven't heard much about the title. All we knew was that it would focus on a new protagonist and continue the story of the existing games. On a technical front, THQ Nordic made it clear that Darksiders III would support Xbox One X.
Updated July 9, 2018: Darksiders III can't be purchased by buying the Darksiders: Fury's Collection anymore.
After leaking on the Microsoft Store over the weekend, Darksiders III is now available for digital preorder on Xbox One. The listing revealed the November 27, 2018 release date a few days ago, but you couldn't buy the game until now. There's a pricing error because you can currently get the top-of-the-lines "Darksiders III: Blades & Whip Edition" if you purchase the Darksiders: Fury's Collection for $39.99. Fury's Collection comes with Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition.
There are a few versions for preorder. The Darksiders III: Deluxe Edition and Darksiders III: Blades & Whip Edition give players 24-hour early access to the game and a discount.
In Darksiders III, players return to a post-apocalyptic Earth. The game is a hack-and-slash adventure where you assume the role of "Fury" in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the "Seven Deadly Sins". Fury is by far the most unpredictable and enigmatic of the "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse". She has to succeed where many have failed when it comes to bringing balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.
