Life Is Strange 2 teaser shows off devastating telekinetic blast

Recently, Square Enix announced that Life Is Strange 2 would launch with a new five-episode story. Better yet, the first episode should come to Xbox One and other platforms on September 27, 2018. You can preorder the game on the Microsoft Store for $39.99. The package contains access to the complete season and a lot of preorder bonuses like mascots and patches.

Today, Square Enix released a teaser trailer for Life Is Strange 2 which reveals some new powers. The "footage" was recorded by a car dashboard camera and follows an officer as he reports a fight in progress. Then, we see an individual being blown away by a telekinetic blast followed by the officer's car. That's the extent of the video but Square Enix did promise to reveal more on August 20. What are your theories about this? Let us know.

A free game called The Awesome Adventure of Captain Spirit launched a few weeks ago which takes place in the same universe. We recently played the title and it's a touching story. You step into the shoes of Chris, a creative and imaginative nine-year-old boy who escapes reality with fantastical adventures as his alter ego Captain Spirit. It's unclear if Chris will be the protagonist of Life Is Strange 2.

Just like The Awesome Adventure of Captain Spirit, Life Is Strange 2 features Xbox One X enhancements. According to the store listing, it achieves "4K Ultra HD" visuals on the console.
