Save up to $1,700 off the VAIO Z Canvas Signature Edition 2-in-1 from the Microsoft Store

The VAIO Z Canvas Signature Edition 2-in-1 is currently available from the Microsoft Store, and they're offering it with savings of up to $1,700 off the original price. That's quite a substantial discount, depending on which configuration you select before checking out. Choosing the most advanced option will bag you the full discount (though you'll still be spending more), while the entry model will still save you around $1,200.

The Z Canvas comes with a 12.3-inch 2560x1704 display, Intel Core i7-4770HQ 2.20GHz processor, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of solid state drive storage space. Again, this all depends on which configuration you opt for on the store:

  • 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - $997, down from $2,199
  • 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD - $1,197, down from $2,599
  • 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD - $1,397, down from $3,099

See at the Microsoft Store (opens in new tab)

Thanks, Nana Takyi D-Abeam, for the tip!

  • $3100 for a tablet!
  • It's actually desigend for artists and has some crazy tech for pressure points and other things.  So not for the typical user no doubt.  Read up on it, it has some pretty sweet tech.
  • Sadly if this had an Apple Logo iSheep would he buying it like candy. The high end one is same price as iPad pro but will still sell 100x less even though the Vaio is 1million times better (but the battery wont last me 5 days say the iSheep... Smh)
  • Well a expensive price for a tab. But who are interested can grab it now. Is it available in INDIA too??
  • You really think people in India will buy it, even at this 'discounted' price? It either is crazy pricing or i am completely oblivious to its utility.
  • Is this equivalent to a SP4 or SB?
  • I'd guess this is more powerful based off the CPU spec in the article. It's an HQ part instead of the Y or U in Surfaces. So, more power (quad core vs dual core), but likely less battery life.
  • It's comparable to a Surface Pro 4. However, the SP4 I rocking a 6th gen (Skylake) CPU while this one is a 4th. Although, that's two generations behind. There really wasn't much of a difference with 4th gen and 5th gen. Still, all said and all. I still think this is a good deal for what you get. Granted it should just be at this price already with those specs.
  • Surface Pro uses weaker Ultrabook class Intel U series processors, this is a full fat Intel  HQ series processor, so much more powerful regardles of generation changes.
  • Lol...And we complain about the pricing of Surface lineup /s
It has got some solid specs...way too awesome for a tablet...
  • Hello, fire sale.
  • Damn, I think I might have got that over a SP4, ah well.
  • Wow - that is a serious discount and will be an absolute bargain for those who want/need this level of tech.
  • It's darn cheap with fully fledged cpu and 1tb ssd for under 1500$, I only miss the sony logo
  • I think this is actually a better deal than the SP4 imho, if you don't mind the added weight! Unfortunately I just got a new laptop aarrggghh!!!
  • That is one hefty discount :P.
  • Me thinks Vaio is setting up for a refresh (updated model) this spring.
  • US/Canada only? This is racism. I'd bought it if I could...
  • I've been debating getting this sexy piece of machinery. Well, here goes nothing!
  • Damn, that's pretty ******* slick looking. Will have to consider getting one. Was planning to buy a SP4 for school in a couple months once I've saved up. Looks like now I've got another option to pick from.
  • 22nm euuugh
  • Awesome deal for a quad core device. That battery life though isn't probably the best, but definitely something I would buy if I didn't have ny sp4
  • and all sold out!
  • When do Lumia 640xl people get windows10 update
