Nokia exclusive Xbox Windows Phone game DaVinci Pinball goes on sale

Nokia unveiled DaVinci Pinball on April 23rd for Nokia Windows Phones and now the game is on sale for consumers. The game is themed around Leonardo DaVinci’s inventions and sketches. The wooden table is chock full of levers, pulleys, and other era-appropriate gadgets. The inventor himself also provides vocal narration, but it's essentially a pinball game.

Be sure to read our previous coverage for more details. You can download DaVinci Pinball from the Nokia Collection on the Windows Phone Store. Originally the game had a price tag of $2.99, but today you can pick it up for just $0.99. Thanks, Dante Jiang, for the tip!

  • Is that a grey or a white Lumia?
  • Looks glossy; probably white
  • Definitely the gray one
  • White in poor light, you can see the gloss on it but the grey is matte.
  • It's the white one, you can see the gloss in it.
  • I'm spoiled by Pinball FX2. The physics feel very off, and the flippers are slightly epileptic.
  • Plus Monster Pinball is also awesome.
  • It kills me we were previewed Pinball FX2 over a year ago and it still hasn't been released. Meanwhile it's come out for Windows 8, Wii U, and now Steam. Wii U, for goodness sake, the worst selling console in the last 20 years.
  • I'm sure the Wii U isn't selling worse than the Sega Saturn, bless the Saturn's soul. But yeah, I checked with Zen again and they have no comment on Pinball FX2 for WP's status.
  • I'm a bit of a DaVinci fan so I hit the Buy button so fast it made my credit card spin. ;)
  • Do we know if this is permanent, like Cut The Rope: Experiements APPEARS to be?
  • Experiments is permanent and this one likely is too.
  • waiting for free or just 0.99

    :P
  • It is $0.99
  • Lol
  • I have been playing Pinball FX since Windows 8 Developer Preview (or it was consumer preview?) and still continues to play on my Windows 8 Pro, I just really wish that it will eventually come to wp8 also, no matter the price I still will definitely buy it. However, this game no, cuz it sucks pretty bad and price drop usually mean no more developer support (I.e. Cut the Rope)
  • Try with headphones, you won't regret it!
  • This game is horrible. I tried to play it multiple times but it always wouldn't work correctly. The physics are off and I had the ball glitch through the flippers very often.
