PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a battle royale game focused on scavenging weapons and using stealth or other tactics to be the last person alive. The title has see unprecedented popularity on Steam and other platforms like the Xbox One over the past several months.
A few weeks ago, developer Bluehole announced a campaign called "Fix PUBG" which aims to make the game better for all players. A few days ago, the team outlined some of the important changes coming to the Xbox One version of the game. You can read about the major ones below.
- The developer will fix Xbox Achievements not unlocking. This appears to be an issue with the servers and, if you met the requirements, you should unlock them automatically once the fix rolls out.
- Xbox One X performance will be optimized soon. Currently, the game runs at 4K 30 FPS on the console, and the frame rate is all over the place.
- A fix for "Survivor" and "Wanderer" crates disappearing from the inventory should come soon.
- "Lost Connection to Host" error is being addressed. Changes to the way matchmaking works should fix this.
It's great to see that Bluehole is focusing on Xbox One X performance. Hopefully the team will make the frame rate and visuals better on Microsoft's new console. What do you want to see fixed in PUBG? Let us know.
