Shenmue III hits PC in November 2019

Updated June 8, 2019: Shenmue III has been delayed to November 2019.

After months of waiting, we finally have a release date for Shenmue III. The game is expected to launch on August 27, 2019 on PC and PlayStation 4. It's unclear if the title will hit Xbox One in the future.

Shenmue III continues the story of revenge and supernatural forces. This time around it looks like there's a greater focus on the relationship between the characters. It also seems like Ryo Hazuki is going to be able to take on Lan Di after all this time.

The new trailer showcases parts of the new story and it's mesmerizing to say the least. Gamers have been waiting decades for a sequel to hit and it's finally happening next year.

Hopefully Shenmue III will be a polished experience when it launches next year. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the game. However, don't expect it to be the definitive, concluding chapter in the saga. Yu Suzuki plans on making more Shenmue games down the line.
