Lenovo has been surprisingly aggressive with the excellent Black Friday deals this year. Outside of the big retailers like Amazon or Best Buy, the smaller single-brand Black Friday sales are usually a little lacking. Lenovo isn't afraid to challenge that perception, though, and right now there's a few great deals going on. For example, you can get the excellent Lenovo Legion 5i laptop on sale for $1,492.99. This is a machine that normally sells closer to $2,000. Even though it's currently discounted to around $1,666 you can use the code LEGIONDEALS20 to drop that price even more, and then use the code SECRETDEAL to take an extra $75 off. That gets you to your new total, which is $467 off the laptop's regular price.

You will need two codes to maximize the savings on this deal: LEGIONDEALS20 and SECRETDEAL. These will bring the final total down to a crazy low price. The laptop is loaded with features, too.

We reviewed the Lenovo Legion 5i last year and gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Cale Hunt lamented the battery life but added that the laptop "is a strong continuation of what Lenovo started with the Y500 series. The no-nonsense chassis, the rear port hub, and the comfortable keyboard are all great design choices."

This particular configuration includes an 11th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with up to 4.60GHz speeds, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB solid state drive for storage and speed. It's also powered by a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, which means you'll be able to play a lot of the more recent games at high settings.

The Legion 5i also has a 15.6-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, Dolby Vision, Nvidia G-Sync to reduce screen tearing while you game, and a 165Hz refresh rate that will make it look smooth while you play. Some of the few other features include a built-in 720p webcam and both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. It has a Thunderbolt 4 port on the back, another USB-C Thunderbolt port on the side, and multiple USB-A ports so you can connect all your favorite peripherals.
