We're lucky enough to have had our hands all over the forthcoming Xbox One Elite Controller, and we like what we see. We know you guys will also love it, and that's why we're going to give one away!
It's set to go on general sale in October, but since we're on an Xbox high having just come out of Gamescom a couple of weeks ago, we're going to run the contest now to give one lucky winner the chance to get their hands on one when it launches!
The Xbox One Elite Controller is Microsoft's attempt at creating a pro-level peripheral for its most demanding of Xbox gamers. Everything has been upgraded from the stock controller, there's room for detachable paddles on the rear, swappable sticks and D-Pads and a companion app that will allow you to re-map everything to meet your needs.
It retails for $150 and for those who're going to use it the most, it's pretty good value. But that doesn't matter here, because we're going to give one lucky winner one of these when it's released!
Entry is simple, though sorry mobile app users, you have to be on the website to do it. Below is a little widget with some really simple methods of entry to the contest. There's four to choose from and each one counts as an entry. The more you complete, the more entries to the contest you have. So, in theory, everyone can enter four times. But, for your entry to count, you have to go through the widget below, that way we can track these things. It doesn't matter where you live, we're opening it up globally.
We'll let it run for a few weeks (since the controller isn't out any time soon) and shut it down on September 9. The lucky winner will then be picked and get themselves an IOU for an Elite Controller which we'll get sent to them once it becomes available.

Sony's PlayStation 5 reveal came with some big caveats, and one of the most overlooked ones is the fact that games will be more expensive, seemingly across the board. Should Microsoft and Xbox jump on that train as well?
