  • Thank you for finally calling out and addressing the basic issue with UWP - that it is still, seemingly, comparatively immature. For years we've had to read articles and comments about how Microsoft was too lazy or whatever to make great apps based on UWP, when the real issue was that UWP simply wasn't ready. I have tried to comment on this every now and then, but the overall narrative has stayed the same. Not that it makes a big difference in the end, because the apps were still missing or subpar, but at least now we can point to the correct reasons why and perhaps this can help put some pressure on Microsoft to deliver on this front.
