Xbox One S pre-orders begin at GameStop

Right now you can pre-order the recently-announced Xbox One S at GameStop in the UK. The company is offering three versions of the console, one with a 500GB drive, one with a 1TB and of course the massive 2TB model as well. This is one of the first retailers we've seen offer the Xbox One S pre-orders. Right now, it shows the release date as to be determined, but if you want to place your order early this is a way to do so.

Pricing is a bit different than what we were originally told for the Xbox One S, with prices starting at £229 on the 500GB. For the 1TB you'll be shelling out £269, and the 2TB will set you back an additional £90 at £349.

  • Dammit I should just wait for the scorpoin
  • You can wait, but who knows what the winds of change will bring.
  • *Scorpio. Also, it won't cost less than $750 considering it's VR- ready hardware.
  • How does an extra terabyte of storage end up costing £90?
  • I would guess its because of SSHD, need calrification on that. They run costlier than usual. At least the elite bundle came with SSHD.
  • I think after they found out this customized build of weirdo's 10 wouldn't fit on the ssd portion of the drive they dropped an idea of continuing to use them in new SKUs
  • No trade-in offers with the 1st Gen models?
  • Possibly.
  • They probably won't offer those until the unit is actually released.
  • If the Scorpio is released at a $750 price tag it'll fail miserably. Consumers don't like spending over $500 for a console and the sweet spot is $400 another reason why the PS4 did so well at launch over the X1.
  • Nah. I'm staying with my PS4. Can't miss God of War and The Last Guardian.
  • Haven't played god of war since the ps2 days. Posted via the Windows Central App for Android (V10 or 5x)
