Xbox's Summer Spotlight event kicks off with focus on new digital games

Xbox's annual Summer Spotlight event is here, ready to highlight new game releases over the course of the next 6 weeks.

Microsoft has officially kicked off its annual Summer Spotlight event, which will highlight more than 30 new games in all. Set to run through September 4, the event will bring attention to new releases on a weekly basis for the next 6 weeks.
For this inaugural week, Microsoft is calling out (opens in new tab) the likes of Gigantic, Fortnite, and What Remains of Edith Finch. Here's a look at what's new:
- Gigantic (opens in new tab)
- Fable Fortune (Game Preview) (opens in new tab)
- Fortnite (opens in new tab)
- Serial Cleaner (opens in new tab)
- What Remains of Edith Finch (opens in new tab)
- Infinite Minigolf (opens in new tab)
- Super Cloudbuilt (opens in new tab)
- Conga Master (opens in new tab)
Other games set to arrive in the coming weeks include The Long Dark, Aven Colony, Sonic Mania, and many more. Microsoft is also using the Summer Spotlight event to dish out 4,000 reward credits for anyone who spends $40 on spotlighted content over the course of the 6 weeks.
