Lara Croft GO lands on Windows Phone, opening up a gorgeous diorama world

Lara Croft GO is a brand new turn-based puzzle title by the same company that brought the world Hitman GO. Taking the same experience and art direction of the previous GO title and mashing it together with Tomb Raider has resulted in a beautiful take on Lara Croft. Prepare to be immersed on the diorama board with plastic figures as you work alongside Croft to uncover the myth of the Queen of Venom.

Should you not be a fan of turn-based games, you may wish to look away as this is exactly what has become of the fearless tomb raider. If you're a fan of the genre, you'll be tasked with navigating through gorgeous-looking boards, fighting off enemies who happen to cross your path, and overcome the usual deathly obstacles and traps Croft has dealt with many a times in the past.

There's a lot to see and do with more than 75 levels available, split into five chapters. Collecting ancient relics on your journey will enable you to unlock some new threads of Croft, providing a refreshed look for the adventurer. It's an interesting take on the Tomb Raider franchise and one we expect many will enjoy. Like Hitman GO, the latest title from Square Enix Montreal will set you back $4.99.

Note that the web store link isn't working as of now, but the issue seems to be on Microsoft's end.

We have an exciting Lara Croft GO developer interview in the works - stay tuned!
