After much speculation and data-mining for clues, the hit open-world action-RPG gacha game, Wuthering Waves, is finally coming to Xbox, as confirmed through March 2026's Xbox Partner Showcase.
It will arrive sometime during July 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Game Pass. It will also receive Xbox Play Anywhere support.
In this game, you play as the mysterious amnesiac named "Rover" wandering the post-apocalyptic world of Solaris-3 in search of your lost memories.

Released in 2024 for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices, Wuthering Waves captured players' admiration for its gorgeous anime visuals, dramatic storytelling, endearing characters, and in-depth combat.
In fact, combat is one of the game's biggest selling points as it's akin to Capcom's Devil May Cry series in terms of complex move-sets that you need to combo together and over-the-top bosses that will require quick reflexes to defeat.
In addition, the combat system has a Pokémon-like mechanic called the Echoes system, where you capture defeated monsters and summon them in battle to fight for you.
Wuthering Waves is an extremely popular game as it's accumulated 88% user ratings on Steam, and it's been downloaded over 30 million times worldwide.
Now Xbox fans will get to learn why people love this game so much when Wuthering Waves drops on Xbox later this July.
