A few weeks ago, Square Enix revealed the Avengers game for Xbox One and other platforms. The title should launch on May 15, 2020 and features a number of heroes. Luckily, gameplay should be unveiled soon.

After a horrific event leaves San Francisco in ruins, the Avengers have been disbanded. However, an even bigger evil threatens the planet five years later, and it's up to you to assemble the crew and save the world once again. Laura Bailey, Nolan North, Troy Baker, and other acclaimed voice actors are part of the project.

According to a post on Gematsu, "Square Enix will reveal the first gameplay during its presentation at the Marvel Games Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 on July 18 at... 4:30 PM EDT." If you're at Comic-Con, you can get the voice actors' autographs at the Marvel Games Booth on July 18 at 8 PM EDT. It's unclear if the event will be livestreamed to the public. However, videos of the gameplay should appear online after the event.

The publisher reiterated that the Avengers wouldn't feature loot boxes or pay-to-win microtransactions. Additionally, all future regions and heroes will be free to all players in order to avoid fragmentation.
