The HP Envy x2 was designed to be used out in the field, whether you're lounging on the sofa or are required to stay overnight in an airport hotel on a business trip. You can take this portable computing experience to the next level by picking up a few must-have accessories, including the Samsung EVO Plus SD card (opens in new tab) for extra storage. Here are some other ideas.
Samsung EVO Plus (opens in new tab)
Samsung is a big name in the memory biz and the company's Evo Plus range of SD cards are a great option. The EVO Plus is a UHS-1 (U3 rating) Class 10 microSD card with maximum read and write speeds of around 100 MB/s and 90 MB/s, respectively. It's also waterproof, temperature and X-ray proof, as well as highly resistant to magnets, making it ideal for travel.
Razer Atheris (opens in new tab)
Point & click
If you're a fan of Razer's already well-established PC accessory collection, you'll dig the Atheris, especially if you're in the market for a portable mouse. It's compact enough to squeeze into the tightest spots in a laptop bag but offers the excellent performance of a full-featured desktop mouse. Utilizing Bluetooth LE and 2.4GHz wireless technologies, the peripheral can quickly connect to a Windows PC with an available wireless card or use the included dongle. The mouse also takes two AA batteries and can last up to 350 hours of action.
ProCase Laptop Sleeve (opens in new tab)
This handy sleeve sports a water-resistant exterior finish, sturdy zipper, and handle. That's pretty much everything you need to keep your HP Envy x2 safe from accidental damage. A front pocket has plenty of space for the accessories you use most, and the interior has a soft lining with enough room. Available in six colors, this sleeve has a 4.7-star rating on Amazon with more than 8,400 reviews, so you can be sure you're getting a quality product.
BatPower ProE 2 ES7 (opens in new tab)
Charging on the go
The issue with traveling and taking your HP Envy x2 along for the ride is not having an outlet at hand everywhere. This is where portable power banks come into action, allowing you to supply much-needed power to your Windows 10 tablet. This model from BatPower comes with a 98Wh capacity and it has a whole bunch of USB ports to plug your various devices into.
Microsoft Surface Pen (opens in new tab)
HP bundles a capable stylus with the Envy x2, but it's not the best digital pen out there. Microsoft makes an excellent stylus for its Surface range of Windows PCs, and luckily, this handy accessory works just fine with the Envy x2 as well. It's a little pricey, especially considering you already technically have a stylus, but well worth the upgrade if you're serious about using it.
Everything you need
These are all the accessories you will likely require for the HP Envy x2. Should you be on a tight budget after making the initial purchase of the Windows 10 tablet, I would recommend going with the ProCase Laptop Sleeve (opens in new tab) to start with — you need to ensure the tablet is protected when out and about.
