Forza Horizon 4 is the latest entry in Playground Games' gorgeous open-world racing series. The title takes place in Britain and features many innovations like a shared world, seasons, and even a 60 FPS mode on Xbox One X.
Today, Microsoft released a demo for the game on Xbox One and PC. The download comes in at almost 28 GB, so be sure to make some space on your hard drive.
We've been playing the Forza Horizon 4 demo for an hour now, and it looks absolutely stunning on an Xbox One X. The title is a visual showcase at 4K 30 FPS. You can download the demo yourself by following the link below.

Nice! Downloading now.
So it looks like the demo doesn't save progress. I went into options to change from quality mode to performance mode to check out 60fps on X and the game required a restart. I had to start the entire demo over and I do not see a save and quit option in the game menu. Also I read that all 4 seasons were available in the demo but I was only able to play summer except for that first race we saw at e3.
This is nothing new, the 3rd game did this. Quite annoying. On top of that there was no skipping cutscenes!!!
Some people are never happy 😉. It's a demo, a demonstration of the game. Whatever is or isn't in the demo is fine, it's a free trial. I'll be picking up a copy day 1 and Dow loading the demo later today. Have fun.
Whoa!! I'm not complaining at all, just a bit confused. Polygon mentioned in their article that all 4 seasons would be playable. Also, in the demo, after you finish all the summer races it says you have unlocked the autumn season but I just haven't figured out how to do it yet.
Forza is my favorite game every year and they typically have nothing to complain about at all. Amazing games!
It may utilise the same system where the seasons change over time, maybe after a week it will switch to Autumn, or something.
very gorgeous, but basically the same game.
I wish the open world racing game could somehow go full on driving RPG with characters and story and quests that involve driving and exploring, not just winning race championships
