Game of Thrones creator's 'Elden Ring' goes up for preorder during E3 2019, features Xbox One X enhancements
While George R.R. Martin is busy writing The Winds of Winter, he somehow found the time to help make a whole new game.
What you need to know
- Elden Ring is being developed by FromSoftware with help from George R.R. Martin.
- It will be Xbox One X enhanced.
- You can preorder it on Amazon.
Elden Ring is now available to preorder on Amazon. The fantasy RPG, which was rumored leading up to E3, was officially unveiled on Microsoft's stage at E3 2019.
It is set to feature Xbox One X enhancements, though it's unknown if it will support 4K resolution. For comparison, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the most recent release by FromSoftware, could run up to 1800p on Xbox One X, which is about 70% of full 4K.
We don't know much about Elden Ring — it doesn't even have a release date yet — but Bandai Namco is billing it as a "fantasy action-RPG adventure." It is expected to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
