Diablo recently concluded its 30th-anniversary Spotlight stream. It revealed a new Warlock class for Diablo 2: Resurrected, Diablo: Immortal, and Diablo 4, and shadow-dropped Diablo 2: Resurrected onto Xbox Game Pass and Steam.
The Warlock Class is already available for play in Diablo 2's recently released DLC expansion, Diablo 2: Reign of the Warlock.
The DLC expansion also offers a bonus Kervek the Putrid pet and a Forbidden Tethers back trophy for owners of Diablo 4, and a Horadric Cube decor item for World of Warcraft players for purchasing Diablo 2's DLC.
However, players of Diablo 4 are reporting that the pet and back trophy are not appearing in their wardrobe in any copies of the game, whether it's on PC via Battle.net and Steam or consoles like Xbox, even though they purchased the Diablo 2 expansion on the same Battle.net account they use for all their games.
World of Warcraft players are reporting they're able to get the Horadric Cube decor item, though, so it seems this issue is limited only to Diablo 4.
Blizzard Entertainment is aware of this issue, however, and has had their community manager state on its official forums, and I quote, "Just sharing that we’re investigating this issue. Thank you all for your reports, looking to have this resolved as soon as possible."
In the meantime, while Blizzard Entertainment is working to fix this, it's recommended that you confirm that you are using the correct Battle.net account when trying to register for these bonus items and restart Battle.net and Diablo 4.
It's likely possible that the rewards are being delayed in-game due to the massive influx of people logging into Diablo 4 to get these rewards, and they'll arrive for players later.
Stay tuned for more updates as Blizzard Entertainment seeks to resolve this issue and as we keep an eye out for news on Diablo 4's take on the Warlock class, which will be revealed in a gameplay deep dive on March 5, 2026.
What do you think of the new Warlock Class for the Diablo franchise? Do you think it will be your new main class going forward in Diablo 2, Diablo Immortal, and Diablo 4?
