From all the games I've ever played between the Elder Scrolls series and Fallout, one game has reigned supreme when it comes to storytelling, questlines, and unadulterated freedom. That game is Starfield.
Nah, just kidding, it’s Fallout: New Vegas! Right now, the game is (slightly below) $1 on Steam. That’s right, it’s a Dollar Menu feature! If you’re feeling frisky, the Ultimate Edition costs less than any latte at Starbucks; just $5!
From the studio that brought you the Outer Worlds 1 & 2 (many years later) comes the game everyone remembers them for! Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas. Enjoy your stay!
That’s not all that’s on sale, either. The entire Fallout collection is yours for the taking on Steam at the moment, with crazy deals that anyone who’s been looking to get into the series is silly to pass on.
I know the whole, “this is just a deal post trying to get me to buy,” blah blah, but look at my history and tell me how many deal posts I write. You won’t see many, and in fact, I don’t think I’ve written one for months.
I’m writing about these Fallout deals because it’s honestly shocking how good a deal this is for a collection of games that will keep anyone busy for literal months. Even if all you do is play Fallout: New Vegas, $1 is a risk I’m willing to bet anything on.
As for the other Fallout games, you can grab the entire collection for $52, with Fallout 76: Mojave Deluxe Edition taking up $24 of that price.
Cheaper copies of Fallout 3 and 4!
While the Steam deals are great, there’s actually a place with Steam copies for even cheaper than what Steam has them. Loaded.com, a place we regularly recommend, has Fallout 4 and Fallout 3 for way less! You’ll thank me later when you can finally afford that latte for you and your girlfriend. I mean, you want to make her happy before diving into another game for hundreds of hours, right?
When it comes to Fallout, there are tons of sweet mods players can pick up. With Nexus Mod Lists, it’s easier than ever to set up an entire plethora of mods that entirely change the experience, giving it unlimited playability.
After beating Fallout 4 on Xbox, I ended up spending another 160 hours on Steam just playing with mods, and that was back when you had to install them all one at a time!
So what’s stopping you? Are you afraid to play one of the best series on this planet? Maybe watch the TV show after buying them to get even more hyped. Don’t forget to enjoy the crap out of them.
From Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, comes Fallout 4. A landmark in open-world RPG design and winner of over 200 ‘Best Of’ honors, including the DICE and BAFTA Game of the Year.
Prepare for the Future with Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, experience the most acclaimed game of 2008 like never before. Create a character of your choosing and descend into an awe-inspiring, post-apocalyptic world where every minute is a fight for survival.
Bethesda Game Studios welcome you to Fallout 76. Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America. Explore a vast wasteland in this open-world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story.
