What you need to know

  • Halo Infinite is the latest saga in Master Chief's adventure, and it's arriving on Dec. 8, 2021.
  • 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios have been teaming up with all kinds of companies on unique Halo Infinite-inspired gear and products.
  • The latest collaboration ranks among the strangest, but may be the perfect Holidays gift for many Halo fans.
  • Dr. Squatch has announced its Spartan Scrub soap, an all-natural soap inspired by Master Chief and the Halo universe.

Halo Infinite is rapidly approaching its fated release later this year, and the too-long road to launch has been littered with a diverse arrangement of collaborations and limited edition gear. Today, 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios are teaming up with an unlikely partner on an increasingly unlikely product: Dr. Squatch, creator of a popular range of all-natural soaps and hygiene products, has announced its Halo Infinite-themed soap, and it's available now.

Dr. Squatch's "Spartan Scrub" soap is inspired by Master Chief and the wider Halo universe in more ways than one, with an appropriate green and burnt orange color scheme disguising plenty of natural ingredients like Little John (particularly appropriate), Bishop's Wort, Sevenbark Root, Silver Sage, Yuzu, and Cedarwood. There's plenty of great stuff in this soap, but the end goal is a healthy hygiene product that doesn't contain any harsh chemicals and makes you smell (presumably) like the Master Chief himself.

This armor against grime and odorous filth is available starting today for Dr. Squatch subscribers, who also net a $2 discount, while anyone who's interested can pick up some Spartan Scrub of their own on Nov. 1, 2021 for a cool $8. If you weren't sold yet, the packaging for Spartan Scrub features the traditional Dr. Squatch logo donning Master Chief's iconic helmet, which is a lovely detail.

In case you missed it, Halo Infinite just revealed a ton of campaign details, and it seems likely at this point that Halo Infinite is destined to become one of the best Xbox games you can play. Fortunately, we don't have long to wait, as Halo Infinite officially releases for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on Dec. 8, 2021.
