Jurassic World Evolution gets a 'Cretaceous' surprise with latest DLC

Frontier Developments is a popular studio that has a long history of producing great experiences. The team did wonders with Elite: Dangerous and Planet Coaster, so it's no surprise that the studio is tackling the challenges of a Jurassic Park game. Jurassic World Evolution is a park-building experience along the lines of titles like Cities: Skylines.

Today, the developer released the "Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack" on Xbox One and other platforms. The paid download adds a variety of ne species which are absolutely terrifying. You can watch the trailer and read the official description below.

Expand your dinosaur collection in Jurassic World Evolution with a selection of impressive creatures from the Cretaceous period. The Jurassic World Evolution: Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack introduces three remarkable specimens, each with a distinct set of behaviors and needs. The Iguanodon is a herbivore that walks on all fours but can also stand on its hind limbs in aim to discourage predators with its powerful thumb spikes. The threatening, carnivorous Carcharodontosaurus has sharp and jagged teeth. Lastly, the Dreadnoughtus is known for being one of the largest land animals that ever lived, his name rightfully means fear nothing.

It's great to see that Jurassic World Evolution is being supported this well after launch. In our review, we stated that the title was a "spectacularly mundane park management" experience. Jurassic World Evolution is available for $59.99 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. It also runs at native 4K resolution on Xbox One X.
