Ubisoft has been gearing up for the reveal of all-new content headed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, under its next major update "Operation Grim Sky." Although details on the expansion are limited, we already know two new playable Operators, a map rework, and various anticipated changes set to arrive in the coming weeks.
Ubisoft has now provided a deeper dive into what to expect from the map rework, with some major changes headed to Hereford Base. Although initial concept art surfaced back in February, today's video shows some major unexpected changes soon on their way.
In a hope to better accommodate for competitive play, the whole layout of Hereford Base has been altered. Highlights include new stairs to improve movement and rotations, a larger surface area per floor, and refreshed art style.
In the meantime, the expansion's full reveal has been confirmed for the Six Major in Paris on August 19, with a public release set for next month.
