The Forza Horizon 4 team has been gradually showing off all of the game's season maps over the past few weeks, and the latest to have the veil lifted is the winter map. During its weekly livestream today, the team at Playground Games offered a look at the full winter map as you'll see it in-game, showing off the snow-covered wonderland players can expect to slip through in the winter months.

Seasons are a new addition with the fourth Horizon game, adding some new variety to the game world as temperatures and weather shift from the icy grip of winter into spring, summer, and autumn. And far from just adding a new look to the world around you, the weather effects and seasonal changes will have an impact on how you approach each race, with ice, for example, offering an opportunity to slide your way through twists and turns.
Forza Horizon 4 is currently set for launch on October 2 for $59.99 (opens in new tab). If you choose to buy into the Ultimate Edition, you can hop into the game a little earlier on September 28. Forza Horizon 4 is also set to launch into Xbox Game Pass, making it available for subscribers on both Xbox One and PC via Xbox Play Anywhere.
Not going to lie here, my excitement is rising for this game!
