UAG launches rugged Plyo case for Surface Go

If you're taking your Surface Go (opens in new tab) into a rough environment, you'll want to add some rugged protection to tis exterior. UAG, which specializes in tough tech cases, has outed a new entry in its Surface Go lineup that could fit the bill, the $70 Plyo (opens in new tab).

The Plyo case is made up of a transparent material and it's designed to work with the Surface Go's Type Cover keyboard attached. Around back, you'll find an "infinite position" kickstand, allowing the tablet to be tilted with a surprising amount of flexibility. Up top, you can stash away your Surface Pen so it doesn't get lost while you're out and about.

If your Surface Go takes a tumble, the Plyo case is flanked on each corner with shock-absorbing corners to protect from drop damage.

UAG already has a fairly robust lineup of protective cases for Surface Go, including an aluminum-backed option (opens in new tab) that looks quite similar to the Plyo and matches it on price. But if you're in the market for something that features rugged protection without looking like it's straight out of the military, the new Plyo case should be available this week for $70.
