Destiny 2: Where to find the Captive Cord

The Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion brings several new weapons to the game's sandbox offering. To get most of them, you'll need to chase down some special crafting ingredients found on the moon. One of those ingredients is the Captive Cord, and you'll need it if you want to get your hands on the powerful Assault Rifle, Arc Logic. Here's where you need to go to get the Captive Cord, as well as how to get there.

Where to find the Captive Cord

To begin the hunt for the Captive Cord, head to the Moon and spawn at the Sorrow's Harbor location. Once there, hop on your Sparrow and head to the middle of the area. Then, head directly south from there. Keep an eye out for a large red bridge that leads away from Sorrow's Harbor.

It can be tricky to spot due to the numerous rock structures near the bridge, so refer to the images above. Once you find it, cross it and head straight until you come to a platform overlooking a giant basin-like area called the Lunar Battlegrounds.

From the platform, look directly ahead, and you'll see a vast canyon. Jump down into the basin and then run forward, killing any Hive that gets in your way. Climb the steep terrain until you're standing in the canyon, then continue to head straight through it.

Once you come out of the canyon, you will come across a collection of different buildings. Look to your right, and you'll find a tall tower structure. Run towards it and jump onto one of its platforms. A waypoint will appear on your HUD that directly leads you to where the Captive Cord is on the floor.

What else do you need to finish?

To finish the quest to get the Arc Logic, you will need more than just the Captive Cord. Since the Arc Logic is an Assault Rifle, you'll need 50 Assault Rifle kills on top of the Captive Cord. In addition to this, you'll need to complete a slew of other activities as well.

The activities are simple. You need to loot chests, do Public Events, and complete the Lost Sectors all over the Moon. As long as you use an Assault Rifle for all of those activities, you will quickly complete both requirements at the same time.
