Digitally Imported, Foundbite, NBA Game Time and more are your app highlights of the week

It’s been a fairly quiet week in terms of breaking news, but the world of Windows Phone doesn’t stop. We’ve got a handful of great apps to highlight for you this week. This is our second time rounding up noteworthy apps that are new to the store or current apps that received a substantial update. We’re going to be calling this column our Weekly App Highlights. Again, this is to make sure you didn’t miss out on any cool new apps in the Store. We’re doing this for you, so be sure to leave us feedback on what you want. Now, without further ado, let’s check out the apps for the week.

New

TipRanks –Here’s an app that comes from the AppCampus program. TipRanks started as a web service that is now targeting Window Phone as their first platform for a mobile app. TipRanks gives you financial advice by ranking market analysts. You can view a profile on a given analyst to see how their predictions in the past have paid off. You'll also get opinions on whether or not to buy a given stock. It's a very clever app for anyone dealing with the stock market. Grab it in the Windows Phone Store or use the QR code below.

Digitally Imported –It’s finally here. One of the most popular electronic dance music streaming services, Digitally Imported, is officially here on Windows Phone. We've had Beem, but now we're getting a little validation for the platform by picking up another official app. Digitally Imported is free and offers users a wide selection of stations for your enjoyment. You can get a premium subscription to unlock higher quality streams and an ad-free listening experience. Grab it in the Windows Phone Store or use the QR code below.

InNote –Announced a little over two weeks ago at Nokia World, InNote is a new note taking application for Window Phone users. While it'll really shine on the Lumia 1520's display, you can download it now. InNote offers the ability for handwritten notes in addition to manual entry with the keyboard. It’s a great app and worth checking out in the Windows Phone Store.

It creates works of art that are a little more immersive than just your regular photos. This is an app that’s exclusive to our platform, so make sure you grab it in the Windows Phone Store.

NBA Game Time –It’s about time. NBA Game Time has been updated the past few seasons around the time that the NBA playoffs start up. Now we’re getting a substantial update at the start of the NBA season. Basketball fans will enjoy the ability to now watch live games. That’s of course assuming they’re League Pass subscribers. Like the NBA and Windows Phone? Then grab Game Time in the Windows Phone Store.

App Social Beta –This is an app that anyone with a Nokia phone should check out. App Social as you know, is a social network that enables users to discover new apps. This is the latest beta that gives you a ton of new features inside a slightly revamped UI. Want it? Go to the Windows Phone Store.

Games

The Machine –AppCampus is a wonderful program that’s notable for bringing great apps (that are exclusive) to our platform. SongArc is one game that’s recently graduated from the program, but you can now add The Machine to that list. The Machine is available for both Windows Phone 7.x and 8 users. The premise is an action-puzzler that has a touch of physics. It’s all wrapped in a monochrome aesthetic. Just take our word for it and download this free game from the Windows Phone Store.
