'Fragments' for HoloLens brings an interactive crime drama to your living room

Developers who have gotten their hands on Microsoft HoloLens have come up with no shortage of novel ways to leverage its mixed reality power, and a HoloLens game called Fragments is no different. Presented as an interactive crime drama, Fragments has players solving a mystery while interacting with a whole cast of characters layered over their surroundings.

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of Fragments is how its elements are laid out against your surroundings. Even the game's characters can recognize the furniture around you to, for example, sit down on a couch or a chair. Just from what we've seen from developers thus far, HoloLens looks like it's going to offer up plenty of incredible interactive experiences once it makes its way to the public.

Be sure to give the video above a watch for a small look at what it takes to bring an interactive experience to HoloLens. And be sure to let us know what you think in the comments!
