Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is soon set to receive its next major update, with the release of Operation Grim Sky. Alongside the previously announced rework of Hereford Base, a duo of playable Operators is in the pipeline from two counterterrorism units. Brief teasers have confirmed a shielded defender and blowtorch-wielding attacker, with a full reveal of Operation Grim Sky set for August 19.
We've now received an early look at Grim Sky's new defender, through a 35-second teaser reportedly surfacing on Ubisoft's German channels. "Clash" is now confirmed as the new shield Operator, rocking a deployable shield comparable to Montagne. However, she offers a unique twist, with some form of taser mounted to the shield.
We're yet to see how Clash functions in-game, though more details are expected this week at the Six Major in Paris. It appears today's teaser was posted in error, meaning a more formal arrival is expected in the coming days.
