What you need to know

  • Doctor Who is an incredibly popular British show.
  • A VR game called Doctor Who: The Edge of Time is launching in November.
  • It gives you control of a Sonic Screwdriver and much more.
  • It's also coming to Oculus Quest.

Doctor Who is an incredibly popular British television show about a time-traveling alien who gets into bizarre situations to say the least. It's regarded as a cult classic due to its legacy. Unfortunately, there aren't that many Doctor Who games out there. If you're been clamoring for one, you're in luck. Today, publisher PlayStack and developer Maze Theory announced that Doctor Who: The Edge of Time, the feature-length VR game, will launch on November 12.

According to the teams, Doctor Who: The Edge of Time combines action, adventure, and much more. You're equipped with the Sonic Screwdriver to solve mind-bending puzzles, escape treacherous environments, and come face-to-face with classic Doctor Who monsters. Yes, the terrifying Weeping Angels and Daleks are in the game.

The best part is Doctor Who: The Edge of Time is launching on PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, HTC Vive, and HTC Vive Cosmos. I personally can't wait to play it on Oculus Quest because it's a wire-free experience.
