Gears 5 Xbox One controller accidentally discounted to $65 at Best Buy right now

What you need to know

  • Microsoft recently revealed a slew of Gears 5-themed hardware.
  • The special edition Xbox One X and controller were the highlights.
  • The controller usually goes for $75, at least on the Microsoft Store.
  • Best Buy is selling it for $65, possibly accidentally, at the moment.

Yesterday, Microsoft revealed a host of Gears 5-themed hardware like the stunning Gears 5 Limited Edition Xbox One X Bundle and the Kait Diaz Limited Edition Xbox Controller. Both devices feature a frozen aesthetic and come with in-game bonuses. While the special Xbox One X is priced the same wherever you go, it seems like Best Buy may have made a slight error when it comes to the special edition controller.

On every other retailer, the controller is going for $75. However, Best Buy has it for $65 at the moment. It seems like they're charging the same as any other controller, not realizing that supplies won't last. It's unclear if this is truly a pricing error or a smart ploy by Best Buy to sell a ton of gorgeous peripherals. Either ways, it's great news for us. Just head over to the website by clicking the link below to place your preorder. You should have it in your hands by August 20.
