This is the best way to subscribe to Microsoft 365 if only one person needs access. This subscription allows you to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite. It also comes with 1TB of OneDrive storage.

Black Friday Windows 11 laptop shopping: FAQ
What type of Windows 11 laptop do I need?
Windows 11 laptops come in all shapes and sizes. If you're a more casual user, you shouldn't need much more than a notebook PC with modern performance hardware and a nice screen.
The ASUS Zenbook A14 we reviewed is the best option in that regard, especially thanks to its extreme battery life and ultra-thin design. Dell's 16 Plus is another top option, especially if you'd like a larger display for easier multitasking.
If you're more interested in gaming, I'd recommend checking out the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. It's one of our favorite gaming laptops here, blending excellent performance with a portable frame.
And, of course, Surface devices are always recommended. They're built to a high standard, they have access to all of the latest AI features in Windows 11, and they have the latest performance hardware from Qualcomm.
Is Black Friday a good time to upgrade to a new Windows 11 laptop?
Absolutely. As you can see from my handpicked deals above, retailers are not being shy this year about slashing prices on the best hardware of the year. With Windows 10 officially retired and the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program only running until 2026 (if you enrolled), the time is right to pick up a new Windows 11 PC.
