Time to strap on those nostalgia goggles: Logitech's MX518 gaming mouse is back.

Logitech today announced it's bringing back a classic (opens in new tab): the MX518 gaming mouse. Now available to preorder for $60 (opens in new tab), the new MX518 largely resembles the original, only with updated internals and a refreshed finish.
If you harbor fond memories of PC gaming in the mid-2000s, it's likely you've seen the original MX518 at some point. The refreshed version packs the exact same shape as the original, albeit with a new sensor and other tweaks.
Inside the new MX518, Logitech has packed a HERO 16K sensor and a 32-bit ARM processor to help it achieve 1ms response times. Also on board are eight programmable buttons, along with on-the-fly DPI switches. All of your settings will be saved to the mouse's onboard memory as well, so you can take them with you between PCs.
On the outside, Logitech says it has gone with a new "Nightfall" finish, which is accented by a giant "G" logo up top.
If you're down with giving the MX518 another go, Logitech has it available to preorder now for $60 (opens in new tab).
