Microsoft launches dedicated Xbox Insider blog

Microsoft explains (opens in new tab) that the new Xbox Insider blog will be a dedicated spot where it can ensure "all Xbox Insider-related news is in one convenient location.

The Xbox Insider blog is still a section of the more general Xbox Wire (opens in new tab) blog, but it at least ensures Insider members will have their own space to keep up with what's new. Presumably, the blog will be used to announce major new features and releases coming to the Xbox Insider program. That could include full release notes, which are currently posted to Reddit and a section of the Xbox forums only accessible to Insider program members.

It's a small change, but it's a deliberate nod toward the importance of the Xbox Insider program for ensuring builds major releases are as bug-free as possible before rolling out to the public. Though there's not much to see currently, you can check out the Xbox Insider blog now (opens in new tab).
