No major update to Windows goes 100 percent to plan, and with the Fall Creators Update Razer appears to be having a few struggles. Not least that the update might leave your keyboard, trackpad and USB ports completely useless.
However, both Razer and Microsoft have acknowledged the issues in a statement to Techradar and assured users they're working on a fix.
"Microsoft is aware of the issue and is working closely with Razer to resolve it as soon as possible."
The problem first surfaced in Razer's forums. Some reported reinstalling drivers worked, or a reboot, but either way there seems to be something that isn't working as it should somewhere.
What isn't exactly clear is which of Razer's laptops this seems to be affecting. Nevertheless, for the time being, it might be worth holding off on installing the FCU until we get the all clear. We'll update as and when we know more.
