Switch to Verizon and get a $200 MasterCard and other savings on your favorite smartphones

Right now at Verizon you can get a $200 prepaid MasterCard when you buy a new smartphone and add it to a new Unlimited plan. Once you've checked out with your new phone, go to Verizon's Promotion Center website and enter the code APRILSWITCH. You'll have some other info you need to fill out, but in about eight weeks you'll get your MasterCard.

This deal works with both Android and iPhone smartphones, but you'll find some extra incentives apply with certain phones. For Android, the phones that include this offer are the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy Note9, LG V40 ThinQ, LG G8 ThinQ, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Red Hydrogen One, or the Moto Z3.

You can also get the $200 MasterCard with the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+. This deal requires a device payment purchase up to $1,599.99 and a port in. The line also has to remain active for 45 days and will get a $200 charge back if it's cancelled within six months.

If you go with the LG V40 ThinQ or LG G8 ThinQ, you can get $350 off with credits applied to your monthly bill.

Plus, this deal at Verizon is also still active. You can buy any of the Galaxy S10 lineup, including the S10e, S10, or S10+, and get a second S10e completely free. If you don't want to get the S10e, you can get $750 off one of the other S10 phones. This deal requires a device payment up to $1,249.99 and a port-in per phone. Of the two phones you buy, the second one must be of equal or lesser value.

Read more about the Galaxy S10 series, if that's the phone you're interested in. Much like the Pixel 3, we also gave the S10 4.5 stars and a The Best recommendation. It has one of the best smartphone displays we've ever seen, powerful technology, and three cameras that include one 16MP ultra wide-angle camera you'll just want to mess around with. The review said, "the Galaxy S10 gets as close as possible to fulfilling the promise of being the best phone for the widest range of people out there" and reviewer Andrew Martonik added, "I can recommend a Galaxy S10 or S10+ to anyone and not worry that it'll be missing something they want or rely on in a modern high-end smartphone."

We've also gotten our hands on the LG G8 for a review of what it's capable of. Our reviewer said it's a great phone to get when it's discounted if you want to try something new and added, "The LG G8 is a fine phone. It mostly competes with Samsung's Android-leading Galaxy S10, and in a few small areas — like its audio technology — it even bests it." It has some really fantastic specs, including a slick and seamless design using Gorilla Glass 6. The insides include a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage that doubles the previous generation, and a 3500mAh battery that's a 17% bump in power over the G7.

Just remember all of these deals come with a $200 prepaid MasterCard if you meet those requirements, in addition to all the extra ways to save. That's a ton off for some of the newest and greatest Android smartphones!
