Avoid traps and more with Mini Dash, now available for Windows Phone 8

The popular cross-platform title Mini Dash has arrived on the Windows Phone Store. Much like Death Worm, developer PlayCreek has ported across another well-rated experience. It's no Xbox Live title, but what we're looking at here is a sweet little gem that's definitely worth checking out, folks. If you've come to Windows Phone from another platform you may already be all over this game, but if not do read on.

Accurately described as a "frenetic, fun, fast platformer that oozes quality," Mini Dash will keep your eyes glued to your Windows Phone when there's some time to kill. Just like Death Worm, PlayCreek has supplied yet another superb arcade game that's worthy of any Windows Phone owner's Games Hub. The aim of the game is to move the hero, dodging traps and avoiding enemies to reach the end of each level. Simple, right?

There's more to it than that though as there's an in-game shop full of upgrades and rewards (including new characters). You can either use in-app purchasing to get some more mushrooms, or simply collect them through the levels as you progress - the choice is yours. Coupled with the mushroom collecting are some missions that reward the player for completing certain tasks. An example being "walk 30,000 pixels." These are unlocked by playing Mini Dash, offering a reason to return.

The graphics are attractive and look great on the larger screens, though it's the gameplay that keeps the player wanting more. The humorous facial expressions fit in perfectly with the environment and overall feel to the game. As well as the selection of levels in the numerous worlds available, Mini Dash also touches on classic arcade games with a twist, including The Impossible Game. It's a welcomed twist that offers more than the base product.

Here's a quick look at what's on offer here since there's no free trial available:

You can download Mini Dash from the Windows Phone Store (listed for Windows Phone 8 only) for $1.99. via: Windows Phone Italy

A game that could easily deserve the xbox branding. But there is no will to improve the mobile gaming (marketing) sector on wp!

too bad i am missing out on these games, but my golden rule is: no trial, no buy. All I am asking fr is 2 or 3 levels to try and figure out if i loke the game or not.

Sometimes you just have to take a punt. This is one of those times. This is my new favourite game. I'll be playing it for months to come. Oh and it wipes the floor with the iOS version. Seriously, reconsider your stance.

One of the best games i've played on mobile! Its really supermeatboy experience on the mobile with super smooth controls!
