Voxer is a popular cross-platform push to talk and messaging service available on Windows Phone. The company has now expanded its support for Windows Phone by adding its enterprise-grade and award-winning Voxer Business platform. Employees can now communicate securely on a private company network using the existing Voxer app for Windows Phone. This move is all down to Windows Phone's market share increasing in multiple regions.

It took Voxer a month from announcing their plans for Windows Phone to producing an app in the Windows Phone Store. A lot of you were happy when the app came out, most because it was another official app joining the platform and it has an audience. That first app however had some issues. Voxer is one of those apps that many of you have been waiting for a long time on Windows Phone. It went into beta some time ago and recently came to the Store. We liked it when we played with it and so does the community based on comments and the 4 star review in the Windows Phone Store. What could make it better? How about Voxer Pro Business coming to Windows Phone? Because it is.

The popular messaging service Voxer has now graduated from private beta to full on public release for Windows Phone 8 devices. The service is similar to a few other push-to-talk apps available on mobile devices in that it allows you to send voice clips, in addition to photos and regular messaging.

What makes the Voxer app for Windows Phone unique though is how fast it is. We’ve been playing around with the app for a little bit here in San Francisco and messages are virtually instant (and we’re talking about those push notifications). If you leave a chat windows open with a contact, voice clips come in nearly at real-time and auto-play for you, which we have to admit is quite compelling.

As we noted in a recent article, the Voxer team has opened up its Windows Phone 8 app for consumers to hop on to the beta program and get involved to help shape the app for launch. The app is currently listed on the store, but is unavailable to those who are not signed up and been accepted for the test program. But it's not all doom and gloom as this shows it's almost here and also provides a tease to what we can all expect.
