Destiny 2: Forsaken takes you to 'The Dreaming City' and beyond
Forsaken adds new weapons and locations.
Today, Bungie revealed more details about the Destiny 2: Forsaken expansion coming to Xbox One and other platforms on September 4, 2018. According to the developer, Forsaken is the first "major expansion" to Destiny 2. With two new destinations to explore, and new weapons, armor, and "Super" abilities to acquire, the download takes players on a journey into the wild frontiers of our solar system where the lines between justice and revenge are blurred.
Forsaken features "The Dreaming City". This endgame location is full of secrets to discover and bosses to defeat. This region also houses the new raid and is the first space designed from the ground up to support endgame content. The new trailer highlights what it looks like and what rewards players can expect.
Bungie also hosted a livestream today which gave us a better look at the combat. Weapons like the bow may be hard to use, but they can be quite effective in a multiplayer environment. As expected, they're quite deadly when you're dealing with computer-controlled enemies.
The Forsaken upgrade will be available on Xbox One for $39.99. There will also be the Forsaken Annual Pass Bundle for $69.99, and a Forsaken: Digital Deluxe Edition featuring premium content for $79.99. If you don't own the game, you can purchase the Destiny 2: Forsaken - Legendary Collection for $59.99.

Looks pretty sweet. Hopefully this adds as much content as it sounds like instead of 5 missions like both previous expansions.
