What you need to know

  • Series 20 update arriving to Forza Horizon 4
  • New gameplay includes a new business story and accompanying achievements plus two showcase remixes.
  • New accessibility menu adds easy access to important features for players.

The time is upon us for another of the regularly scheduled Forza Horizon 4 updates and as Series 20 rolls around there are new things to play new achievements to unlock and some incredibly important new features around accessibility.

Starting with the last of those first, there's a brand new accessibility menu accessed from the title screen or the settings menu in-game. Here's what's new:

Introducing the Accessibility Menu, accessible via the Title Screen or the Settings tile of the Pause Menu. Colorblind and High Contrast modes will reside here, alongside all subtitle-related settings. We've also added the following Accessibility features:Subtitle Keyword Highlighting - We've added an option for bolding keywords in all subtitles! This option is intended to assist anyone who has trouble reading our subtitles quickly.Map Filter Icons - The Map Filter list is now adorned with icons to help guide players to the Event Types they're looking for. They are also quite pretty.

Accessibility in gaming is a big deal and it's good to see Playground Games stepping up to the plate and making important features easy to use.

Gameplay wise, the usual seasonal resets will be taking place over the next four weeks with rewards galore, but there's also a brand new story to play through with a business to earn at the end of it.

Welcome to Express Delivery, the Horizon Festival's brand-new ultra-fast delivery service! Gutsy entrepreneur and man-about-town Billy Stoakes has all he needs to get his Edinburgh-business off the ground. Everything, that is, except a Horizon driver to handle the more... sensitive tasks. This new, 9-chapter Horizon Business will allow you to unlock the very professional-looking Delivery Outfit.

The new story comes with new achievements, with eight in total covering this, Upgrade Heroes and the Lego Bugatti Chiron.

Otherwise of note are two new showcase remixes to play through, and a bunch of cross-platform fixes. You can check out the full patch notes over on the Forza Support forum.
