Fortunately, one of our favorite CPUs for gaming just so happens to be on sale for this event, and it's none other than the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is now available with an 8% discount for $439.99 at Amazon.
Why buy the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D?
The AMD Ryzen 9800X3D is one of the best overall PC gaming CPUs you can install in your PC and bring out its GPU's greatest performance, whether it's an RTX 4060 or an RTX 4070.
It can do this because the AMD Ryzen 9800X3D is outfitted with 8-cores, 16-threads, a base clock speed of 4.7GHz, a max clock speed of 5.2 GHz, and a second-generation 3D V-Cache with 96GB of memory, all built on AMD's Zen 5 architecture.

The only real issue is that if you're upgrading your PC's CPU from a Ryzen 5000X3D series CPU, you will need to acquire a new motherboard with DDR5 RAM to install the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
Also, its pricey MSRP of $479.99 doesn't help matters either if you're conscious about your budget when buying PC upgrades. Fortunately, the pricing is somewhat lessened with this 8% discount for $439.99 at Amazon, giving you a chance to own this stellar PC component for less.
