I just bought Dave the Diver a few days ago, and I've been hooked (hehe) on it ever since. It runs beautifully on my Xbox Ally X, has a playful pixel-art style, and has a fun game loop that keeps me coming back for more. By day, I can explore the watery depths, catch fish, and upgrade my gear to be a more efficient diver. By night, I use my catches to run a sushi restaurant and try to improve it to earn more money. 2025 has been absolutely stellar for new games and sequels alike, with Supergiant Games’ Hades 2 a particular favorite of mine. Full disclosure, Hades II isn't on sale. However, this massive roguelike takes everything that worked well in the first game and polishes it to a mirror moonlight sheen. That roguelike nature means it's perfect for playing in bursts and taking on the go. Jin Sakai's home is being invaded by the Mongols, and he must decide whether to keep to his Samurai ways or blend into the shadows when reclaiming his home.
