LG announced the refreshed lineup of laptops today and highlighted their internal improvements. A 10th Gen Intel chip powers each new gram laptop and LG touts that the lineup has "double the graphics processing power of last year's models." The gram 17, gram 15, and gram 14 have options for up to 24GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory while the 14-inch 2-in-1 comes with up to 16GB of DDR4 memory.
The gram 17 and gram 15 have larger 80Wh batteries while the rest of the lineup has 72Wh batteries. The entire lineup supports Wi-Fi 6 and Thunderbolt 3 to give people a wide range of options to keep their PCs connected.
The LG gram 17 has a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, which LG points out is better for editing videos, photos, and documents. The rest of the refreshed LG gram devices have a 16:9 aspect ratio.
As the name suggests, gram laptops keeps their weight down. The heaviest LG gram is the LG gram 17 at 1350g (2.98lbs), and the lightest is the LG gram 14, which weighs just 999g (2.2lbs).
LG did not announce a release date or pricing for the laptops, but people at CES 2020 can try them out at the LG booth. A full list of specifications appears in the LG newsroom announcement of the refreshed lineup.
