Microsoft just announced March's free Games with Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. Starting on March 1, 2018, Brave and Trials of the Blood Dragon will be free with the subscription. Then, on March 16, Xbox Live Gold members can download Quantum Conundrum and Superhot at no cost. Brave and Quantum Conundrum are backward compatible so you can also play them on your Xbox One or Xbox One X.
Brave
Brave is a third-person adventure game that is a companion release to the Pixar film of the same name. Brave is Pixar's first fairy tale release and features the adventures of Merida, the studio's first female lead character in a film. While the title may not be that exciting, it's great for children because it contains a family-friendly storyline, bow and arrow as well as a sword combat, agile in-game movement, puzzles, co-op, and the ability to play as a bear.
Quantum Conundrum
Quantum Conundrum is a mind-bending puzzle game. When you arrive to visit your uncle, you notice something is very wrong. He's not there to greet you and there was an explosion just as you arrived. The goal is to rescue your uncle using his newest invention, the "Interdimensional Shift Device". Players shift between five different dimensions in real time and work their way through his insanely complex mansion.
Superhot
Superhot is a puzzle game combined with a first-person shooter. The game not only features stunning black, white and red visuals, but also a mechanic where time only moves when you do. This allows you to dodge bullets and pull off unbelievable moves as you shoot and punch every red villain out there.
Trials of the Blood Dragon
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is regarded by many as a modern cult classic because of it's over-the-top story and hilarious characters. Since then gamers have been asking for a sequel, but the sequel came in the from of a Trials game. Trials of the Blood Dragon is a notoriously difficult motorcycling game where you have to guide two teenagers through a series of environments to rescue their father. As emotional as the premise sounds, it's the exact opposite because it's filled with bizarre moments and unbelievable situations.
Be sure to download all four of these games next month because many of them are great experiences. Out of all of these, we would recommend that you play Superhot because it's an incredible title. In our review, we praised the game for its "innovative and perfectly executed time-bending concept".
