Windows Insiders have had to play the waiting game with Microsoft's release schedule for Redstone 5 ISO files, with the first appearing at the start of August – well into the development cycle. But the company appears to be picking up the pace, releasing the second batch today.
Today's release is for Windows 10 preview build 17738, and it comes less than a week after the build initially rolled out to the Slow ring. Separate files are available for the general preview release, along with Enterprise and Home China. You can use each to create install media on a USB drive or a DVD to perform a clean install of Insider build 17738.
Redstone 5 development is gradually winding down as Microsoft prepares for the update's final release to the public this fall. As for what's coming next, Windows Insiders on the Skip Ahead ring are already getting a taste of Windows 10 19H1, the next major release set to ship in the first half of 2019.
If you're curious, you can pick up the 17738 ISO files from Microsoft now.
