Windows 10 preview build 16232 ISO files and SDK now available

Following on from its recent release to Slow ring Insiders, Microsoft has also now released (opens in new tab) ISO files for Windows 10 Insider preview build 16232. If you need to do a clean install of the latest Slow ring build for some reason, these files will let you do that.

Windows 10 preview build 16232 is part of the Fall Creators Update, and includes a number of goodies like My People and aspects of Microsoft's Fluent Design. In particular, build 16232 introduced a number of security updates that will arrive for everyone later this fall.

The build 16232 ISO files are available to download now (opens in new tab) in different flavors from Microsoft's Insider website.

In addition to the ISO files, Microsoft also released the preview build 16232 SDK for developers (via Neowin). If you're a developer, you can parse over all of the changes and grab the SDK from Microsoft.

  • Was wondering when they update the iso, would of been nice a week ago, instead of upgrading from older iso!
  • WC: Your link for the ISO file seems to go nowhere.
  • Clicking any link in this article leads me to the question which app I want to use...
  • Having trouble downloading the ISO itself. Get errors after confirming what language. Did not even get to which version (32 or 64 bit). Will try later on. Hopefully the error will be fixed.
