  • The latest episode debuted new gameplay footage, and talked a bit about the game's sound and mocap design.
  • Dying Light 2: Stay Human is set to launch for Xbox, PC, and PlayStation on Dec. 7, 2021.

The zombie genre of video games is quite crowded, but the original Dying Light managed to stand out with its intense zombie action and parkour traversal. Now, studio Techland is poised to release the long-awaited follow-up with Dying Light 2: Stay Human, set to release later this year. In order to build up hype and get fans excited for their upcoming game, Techland has been hosting the Dying 2 Know web series, which goes over different aspects of Dying Light 2.

Dying 2 Know Episode 2 just concluded, and with it debuted a brand-new gameplay trailer for Dying Light 2.

Beyond the new gameplay footage, the new Dying 2 Know episode gives players a closer look at the infected, including a new variant called the Revenant, a behind-the-scenes peek at sound and mocap design, and a collaboration with noted parkour-expert David Belle, who is contributing his talents to Dying Light 2. You can check out the episode when it goes live on Dying Light's YouTube channel.

If you're not already familiar with the game, Dying Light 2 is a first-person action-adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic open-world filled with deadly zombies. Dying Light 2 is all about close-quarters combat, exploration, survival, and the use of fluid parkour mechanics to traverse the map.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human promises to improve on every aspect of its predecessor, and it's doing so relatively soon. Dying Light 2 officially releases for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS5, and PS4 on Dec. 7, 2021. You can preorder Dying Light 2 right now to ensure you're first in line to play when the game releases.

As we get nearer to release, Techland will likely show more and more of Dying Light 2. As we learn more about the game, Dying Light 2: Stay Human gets closer to confirming itself as one of the best Xbox games around, especially for zombie game lovers.
