Get that camera out.

Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter which has garnered a lot of interest in recent months. The game is a sequel to Metro: Last Light which was ported to Xbox One a few years ago. Years after nuclear war devastated Earth, a few survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow. They have struggled against the lethal elements and fought mutated beasts. Now, in Metro Exodus, they must flee the underground tunnels in search of a new life in the East.
Today, publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games confirmed that Metro Exodus will feature a photo mode on February 15, 2019. Executive Producer Jon Bloch said, "Photo mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community. They're relatively rare in first-person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands." The team promised more information this week. There should be a new story trailer tomorrow and more reveals in the coming month.
If you love post-apocalyptic experiences like Rage 2, then be sure to give this game a go in February. The title features Xbox One X enhancements and runs at native 4K resolution on Microsoft's new console. From what we've seen at events like E3 2018, the title looks stunning on the system.

Nice! I'm really looking forward to this game!

I always wondered what the big deal is with photo modes in games. Final Fantasy VX had an entire character dedicated to it and it was more annoying than anything.

Being able to take and share screenshots and/or videos in game is good for streamers and content creators, and is good marketing for the game.
