Updated August 13, 2019: Ubisoft has confirmed Operation Ember Rise, ahead of its upcoming unveiling. The first cryptic teaser showcases the two new Operators around a campfire, alongside a potential first tease of both gadgets.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is on the brink of a new seasonal update, slated for a full unveiling this week at the Rainbow Six Pro League Finals, Raleigh. The third expansion of Year 4 further expands its tactical multiplayer lineup, promising a duo of counterterrorist specialists from Mexican and Peruvian forces. Ubisoft remains tight on details but hasn't held back leaks just days before the unveiling.
Rainbow Six Siege Year 4 Season 3 will be titled "Operation Ember Rise," according to Rainbow Six leakster "Komora," previously famed for details on future content plans. Previously dropping the stars of both Burnt Horizon and Phantom Sight, the ResetEra user now lies at the heart of Season 3 leaks, also assuring the authenticity of recent concept art.
Former teasers allude to two new Latin American Operators for Year 4 Season 3, with ties to Brazilian attacker Capitão, and hand in anti-drug and antiquity trafficking efforts in the region. A new grappling hook-equipped attacker is now expected, alongside a fiery deployable shield gadget for defense, and a map rework for Kanal.
Operation Ember Rise details continue to align, only bolstered by this newest leak. Rainbow Six YouTuber, coreross, further highlights how "Ember" and "Rise" could pay homage to the upcoming recruits, similar to Nokk and Warden of Operation Phantom Sight.
Year 4 Season 3, likely named Operation Ember Rise, will see a full reveal on August 18, 2019 at 1:30 PM ET (10:30 AM PT / 6:30 PM UK / 7:30 PM CET), live from the latest Rainbow Six Pro League Finals in Raleigh, North Carolina.
